With a rapidly expanding influence on Instagram, Backcountry needed a hand managing their community and sorting through the thousands of tagged/hashtagged photos that flowed in from customers and fans every day. I was hired on contract to actively engage with the Backcountry community and to curate user-generated content for the Backcountry Instagram account. In my first two months, we saw an increase of nearly 7,000 followers and an average reach of over 450,000 people daily which led to an extended contract.
